Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort - Springs Building

We began our Schools Out! trip by staying in a studio at Saratoga Springs. It's another DVC resort, so we got a feel for what it's like to be member. Saratoga Springs is a really pretty resort, although it's huge! This is the building we stayed in:

When you walk in the door, there's a little kitchenette. It had a small fridge, microwave, toaster, etc. It was perfect for making a quick breakfast before heading out the door.

The studio also had a separate vanity area that made it a lot easier to get ready in the morning.

The toilet/shower area was kind of small, but we can live with that!

The closet in the vanity area had an ironing board, broom, safe, and vacuum cleaner. (Yeah right, like that vacuum cleaner is gonna get touched on vacation!)

The sofa pulls out into a full-size sleeper. We'd later find out just how uncomfortable it was!

The entertainment center/storage area:

The bed was so much more comfortable than the beds at the Value resorts. It made a world of difference in the amount of sleep we were able to get each night!

After we got settled in, I took the next series of pictures. The scenario repeated itself almost every afternoon. The next five pictures were taken in a matter of minutes:

It was crazy! However, the rain that we had every day made the temperatures bearable! The next picture is of a bird that hung out outside our room almost every day. After each rain, he would flap his wings to dry them off. It was hilarious!

This is our view across the pond:

I took this picture right before another storm. The sky looks eerie, but the spring looks like it's falling from the opening in the clouds. Again, this storm came out of nowhere in a matter of minutes. Thankfully, they passed just as quickly!

Marc and I are very happy with our DVC purchase! Can you tell?
