Crazy Question of the Day

Our playground looks like a lake instead of a playground. There is water standing everywhere, it's raining cats and dogs, and this is the conversation in my classroom:

Student: "Are we going to have inside recess, or do we get to go outside?"

Me: "Well, we can go outside if you brought your swimsuit."

Student: "So are we going to have inside recess, or are we going outside today?"

Me: "Is it 2:30 yet?"

Student: "No, it's only 10:00."

Me: "Did I just see a boat floating by the window?"

Student: "Mrs. Melillooooooo!"
